Dear Dr. Vincent Do.  Wish you and your family good health. I got your email and website by searching the autism from internet. My name is XYZ, I am 33 years old, and I am PhD candidate in Sejong University, South Korea. May I describe my son's situation and could you give us some suggestions and if possible please provide us the guide by video. Please tell us also the expense and how can we pay them. My son named ABC, he was born in 2007 in Vietnam. I brought him to South Korea with me since he was 16 months, at that time he could speak some simple words like "hết rồi" or "măm măm", but after joining the Korean Children's house he stopped talking and after several months he could not play with other friends and also his language was not developed.  I thought that due to dual languages and the multi-culture in Korea was not that good, so I decided to let my mother who was in Russia at that time to look after and teach him. Because my mother lived in a large Vietnamese community in Russia, and there is a Vietnamese school over there. But with many efforts, he still could not play with other friends and didn't improve any language ability.  I let him returned to Vietnam since 2010, we are attending an ABA-like program, and his mother (my wife) is with him all the time. But I have to say that his progress is very small, after checking I saw that there is no psychologist doctor and the program is not flexible to each child. But we have no choice since there is not any program better than it in Hanoi or Vietnam.  His situation now is he can speak some simple single words and sometime to two to four words sentence, but he just talk when he needed, and still do not like to play with friends.  I interest your program since it suites to my thinking about my son's situation in way more professionally. I hope that you can provide us some guides and lessons in order to recover my son.  Please also tell me if there is any further medical test that you need. We did some deeply medical test but as I have seen on video you need some deeper and different tests.  Thank you very much and waiting for your reply.  Best Regard,
Answer:  Approximately the first two years of life the human brains develop more on the right side.  After two years it switches to the left side side of the brain.  South Korea has very high autism rate.  If I remember correctly, it is 1 out of 38.  If your son did not have the appropriate stimulus to the right brain from the environment during the first 2 years of life, he may has a condition called right brain deficit.  This is happening to about 95% of all autistic children.  If the right brain is not adequately develope during the first 2 years, some of the functions may disappear when the brain function switches to left brain.  The right brain is about understanding and the left brain is about memorizing.  In order to talk correctly, the person has to understand first.  Autistic children often lack the ability to understand.  That is why austistic children often repeat what they heard or talk from their memory.  You have to understand that autism is a very complex medical condition.  It is so complex that the whole medical system is not knowing how to solve it with its traditional system.  ABA was developed from the Old Model system to teach children of autism.  The Old Model system stated at autism is genetic and not treatable.  So when you sent your son to ABA school you should not expect your son to be recovered from aultism because the purpose of ABA is not there to treat your son…it is an educational system to teach disabled children.  In their mind autism is not treatable.  What I do here is the New Model system.  The New Model system states that autism is epigenetic; therefor treatable and curable.  So what I do is to find the environmental factors that are causing problems on autistic children and try to remove them.  If I remove enough of them, autistic children can be recovered.  You have to help your son improve his right brain function first.  Otherwise you will not be able to help him.  I can only help your son if he comes to USA.  Thank you for contacting us.
