Hello Dr. Vincent Do.  My name is XYZ. I am currently living in Minnesota. I have a 3.5 year-old twin who both were diagnosed Austism when they were approx. 18 months old.

I had a chance to watch the videos posted on your website and would like to ask you a question re: the remote treatment program.  If my sons attend your Austism treatment program, would they need to drop their current ABA Day treatment that they are attending?  Thank you.

Answer:  First you need to realize that there are Old and New models for autism.  Most doctors and people only know about the Old Model.  The Old Model says that autism is genetic and untreatable.  ABA was born from the Old Model to teach children with autism a few things mostly by memorizing.  ABA is not a treatment program so never expect recovery from it (because the Old Model says autism is not treatable).  The New Model says autism is caused by environmental factors and it is treatable and curable.  We use the New Model to help autistic children here.  For most people, we offer 2 treatment programs, remote and live-in treatment programs.  The live-in program offers better results than the remote program simply because we can control the environmental factors/triggers.  If you prefer the remote program, you need to be able to duplicate what we do here in order to see good results.  It is doable.  ABA program makes children memorize things.  Memorizing means left brain stimulation.  For most autistic children, when they have strong left brain their right brain automatically get weaker.  Weak right brain means less understanding.  This is why you see children with autism are good with memorizing but very bad with understanding.  What we do is totally opposite with ABA.  To improve the right brain function, it is better to stop stimulation the left brain with ABA styles.  It is depends on what you want for your children.  Short term gains go with ABA (Old Model) and long term gains go with the New Model.  Just call me if you want to discuss further.
